The Keban Deresi HPP project is established on the Keban Stream within the borders of Keban District in Elazığ Province. A license for the project was obtained on November 18, 2004, and construction activities commenced after securing the necessary permits. The construction works for the regulator structure, a 1,753-meter transmission tunnel, a loading pool, a 155-meter pressure pipe, and the power plant building were successfully completed, and the facility was commissioned on May 9, 2007, after temporary acceptance.

The Keban Deresi HPP project effectively utilizes natural resources to ensure sustainable energy production, contributing to the region's energy needs.

Our Contribution to Sustainable Development

Tektug Energy establishes renewable energy projects in Turkey's underdeveloped regions. The project owner has voluntarily planted 2,000 pomegranate trees in the area.
