Located in Sincik district of Adıyaman, Turkey, the Çağlayan HEPP is a significant contributor to the region's energy supply. Operated by Çağlayan Su Elektrik Üretim Ltd. Şti., under the leadership of Tektuğ Elektrik, this power plant has an installed capacity of 10.09 megawatts (MW). It ranks 822nd among all power plants in Turkey and is the 9th largest energy source in Adıyaman. Additionally, it is the 360th largest hydroelectric power plant in the country.
The Çağlayan HPP generates an average of 34,440,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity annually, meeting the daily electricity needs of approximately 9,482 people. This reliable energy source powers a variety of applications, including residential areas, industrial facilities, metro systems, government offices, and public lighting.
When considering residential consumption alone, the Çağlayan HPP can supply electricity to around 11,530 households.
